Celebrate Black History Month

As part of Black History month this February, the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library (KCKPL) is celebrating the Harlem Renaissance. Join us for events all month long celebrating the explosion of African-American art and culture in Harlem that started in 1918 and spanned the 1920s and 1930s. KCKPL staff members also selected various electronic resources to learn more about African American culture and history this month and throughout the year. View and explore a variety of resources, including books, music, movies and historical content available through DatabasesHooplaKanopy, and Flipster. Click here to learn more.
