Sylvester and the Magic Pebble Review

Amber’s review:

This 1970 Caldecott Award winner is the story of young Sylvester, who lives with his mother and father when he finds a magic pebble that grants his wishes. All is well until Sylvester sees a lion on the way home, and, in his panic, he wishes that he were a boulder. This is a picture book with a slightly higher vocabulary for language learners, and helps teach to be careful what we wish for and the importance of family.
