Thirty Names of Night Review

Review by Carly

This book is one of the most beautiful pieces of literature I have ever read! I know that may sound a bit pretentious but honestly it truly is a masterpiece. The story unfolds through two different narrators, one set in the 1920s-1940s and the other modern day. This book covers multiple topics and issues such as LBGTQ relationships, transgender stories, the treatment of people of color in the United States, and also the immigrant experience. However there is a level of fantasy that is breathtaking. It truly is a modern fairytale.

I would recommend this to anyone who is wanting to read something that will touch their emotions and open their eyes to the experience of others.
